Jet was born in 1958 when the founder of the company, Leslie P. Sussman, took the first Boeing Jet Airplane trip from Seattle, WA to Japan. As Jet grew, we expanded our Material Handling and Air Tools into to a full line of products. Jet power tools have a long and enviable reputation for accuracy, rigidity and reliability and are the brand of choice for many industrial applications, contractors and serious home work shop owners. |
Jet power tools are now a brand owned by WMH Tool Group, a subsidiary of Walter Meier Holding AG, based in Zurich, Switzerland. The Jet name has been associated with high quality tools for more than 40 years. The Jet name is on hundreds of different tools, including air tools, hand tools, materials handling tools, metal working tools, vices and clamps and woodworking tools. Jet power tools are marketed worldwide. Jet woodworking machinery includes planers, bandsaws, planer moulders, shapers, sanders, table saws, vices, jointers, shapers, drill presses, bases, cutters, blades, discs and accessories. Jet woodworking tools and machinery are very popular, especially with the upscale home hobbyist and do-it-yourselfer.
